What fertilizing and moss control covers
Okanagan lawns deal with hot summers and sandy soil. A properly timed feed gives the grass what it needs to stay thick and handle the heat.
I spread an even application across the whole lawn, so you don't end up with stripes of green and yellow.
Moss in Okanagan lawns
Moss shows up where grass is struggling: shaded spots under trees, compacted soil, and areas that drain poorly and stay damp. It is not the cause of a thin lawn, it is a symptom of one.
Spring moisture makes it worse. While the grass is still waking up, moss takes advantage of the wet, cool weeks and spreads through any bare or thin patch it can find.
The lasting fix is helping the grass outcompete it. Aeration opens up compacted soil, more sunlight reaching the ground helps, better drainage keeps roots from sitting in water, and proper feeding thickens the lawn so moss has nowhere to take hold. I can rake out existing moss and treat the area, then set the lawn up so it stays ahead.

Questions homeowners ask
When should I fertilize my lawn?
Spring to wake it up and fall to build roots for next year. Fall is the one most people skip.
Why is moss taking over my lawn?
Moss moves in where grass is weak: shade, compaction and poor drainage are the usual reasons. Killing the moss alone is temporary unless the lawn gets thicker and the conditions improve.
Will the moss come back after treatment?
It can, if the underlying conditions stay the same. That is why I pair treatment with aeration and feeding, so the grass fills in and crowds it out.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Stay off the lawn until it's been watered in and dried. I'll tell you when.
