Leaf cleanup in Kelowna, raked autumn leaves piled on grass

What leaf & debris removal covers

Leaves left on the lawn all winter smother the grass and leave dead patches in spring. I clear them out for homeowners across Kelowna and West Kelowna before the snow falls.

I rake and blow leaves out of the lawn, beds and corners, then bag them and haul them away. Weekly or biweekly visits are available through leaf season.

Leaf season in Kelowna and West Kelowna

Neighbourhoods with big, mature trees get heavy leaf loads, and those trees don't drop everything at once. A yard can look clear one week and be covered again the next. That is why a lot of those yards need a second visit, and why I offer weekly or biweekly plans.

Wet leaves get heavy and mat down onto the grass, so it helps to get them up before they sit for long. Beds, fence lines and corners matter too, since that is where leaves pile up and hold moisture against plants and wood.

Leaves are bulky. Even a medium yard can fill a lot of bags. Bagging and hauling them saves you the work and saves you a trip to the transfer station.

Questions homeowners ask

When should I book a fall cleanup?

As soon as most of the leaves are down. In Kelowna and West Kelowna that is usually mid October into early November, and always before the first snow. Yards with big trees often need a second visit, so booking early gets you on the schedule.

Is hauling the leaves away worth it?

For most yards, yes. Leaves are bulky, and bagging and hauling them saves you a trip to the transfer station. You can also keep them for compost if you like.

How much does leaf removal cost?

Your flat price depends on yard size and how many leaves are down, and you know it before I start.

Can I get more than one visit?

Yes. Weekly or biweekly visits work well for yards with big trees.
